Dak dii gwaay xiidgwaans (hummingbird in flight) Chelsey Bell is from the Tsiits Gitanee clan from Gaw Tlagée Old Massett. After ten years of working at the Haida House, Dak dii gwaay xiidgwaans has decided to move on and take a new position at the Causeway in Masset.  

Dak dii gwaay xiidgwaans started working at Haida House in 2012 and as she took on additional responsibilities, she became our dining room floor manager. Her winning combination of quiet strength, exceptional guest service skills, and quick humor helped lead the front of house team year after year. During her time with us, she also successfully completed the ‘First Host’ training course and is a qualified local instructor.

She continues to build her skills and is creating a strong path for future endeavors. Chelsey played a crucial role in implementing our new point of sales system.
