MARKETING & SALES MANAGER | HAICO

Reporting to the CEO and working directly with the Management Team, the Marketing and Sales Manager will lead and manage HaiCo’s marketing and sales activities for our various businesses with particular focus on Haida Resorts and Lodges and Haida Wild Seafoods. Based in our Richmond, B.C. office, the incumbent will oversee the development of the sales and marketing strategic plan and implement a growth oriented plan through HaiCo’s marketing and sales teams. This position is responsible for overall brand management and corporate identity, developing and implementing effective marketing and sales campaigns, exploring opportunities with travel trade partners, and supporting the development of new products and services including cultural tourism, specialty seafood and value-added lumber. SKILLS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR | HAICO

The Skills Development Coordinator (SDC) conducts needs assessments and coordinates the delivery of skill building training initiatives and programs that help fulfill on-island needs and build capacity to advance the various business interests of HaiCo. The SDC promotes the value of education with key stakeholders including the Council of the Haida Nation (CHN), Band Councils and school district and works and collaborates with stakeholders to develop awareness campaigns directed at island youth, councils, parents and school districts.
The SCD will source funding, write funding proposals and coordinate training dollars.
This position also supports the recruiting process of HaiCo’s subsidiaries by creating a database of training needs for each business unit by position as well as building and maintaining a pipeline of potential Haida citizen candidates.
This position is located in Old Massett on Haida Gwaii. Travel to Skidegate and Vancouver will be required. For key roles and responsibilities download PDF.
